Enrichment, Adventure & Training for North Seattle Dogs

We believe dogs thrive when their physical, emotional, and social needs are thoughtfully supported through movement, exploration, enrichment, training, and connection.

We offer enrichment-focused services tailored to the individual dog, including off-leash park adventures, dog day camp, private walks, training, and behavior support. For current clients who meet our requirements, we also provide limited in-home boarding.

Whether your dog loves active social play, exploring wooded trails, learning new skills, or simply spending more meaningful time outdoors, our goal is to provide experiences that support overall well-being and help dogs live fuller, healthier lives.

At Rain City Dog Walks, we know every dog is an individual. We take time to understand each dog’s personality, comfort level, and needs so we can provide care that helps them feel safe, fulfilled, and supported.

Rain City Dog Walks is a locally owned dog care and enrichment company serving North Seattle since 2003.

Off-Leash Park Adventures

Thoughtfully grouped off-leash outings in a wooded, trail-based environment. Dogs can run, explore, sniff, play, or simply observe, depending on their comfort and personality. Each adventure is designed to support natural behaviors, appropriate social interaction, and meaningful outdoor time.

Neighborhood Walks and Enrichment

One-to-one care designed for dogs who benefit from quieter, individualized walks. These walks focus on decompression, structured exploration, and meeting your dog where they are that day, whether that’s movement, sniffing, or calm routine.

Training & Behavior Support

Training tailored to your dog’s needs, focusing on real-life skills, emotional well-being, and clear communication between you and your dog. Sessions are designed to meet your dog where they are, whether you’re working through behavior challenges, building everyday manners, or creating more ease and understanding in your daily life together.

Schedule a Meet & Greet

What to expect at the Meet & Greet:

We’ll visit your home to meet you and your dog, ensuring a comfortable introduction and gathering the important details to offer the best care

During the meet & greet, we’ll:

  • Discuss the service(s) you’re interested in and your dog’s daily routine, personality, and preferences.

  • Ask questions to better understand your dog, including:

    • What training has your dog had? What are your training goals moving forward?

    • Does your dog display any behaviors we should be aware of, such as guarding or reactivity?

    • Is your dog comfortable around other dogs, especially in close quarters (e.g., traveling in a van)?

    • What is your dog’s play style? Are they ball-obsessed, sniffers, wrestlers, or fans of a good chase?

    • How familiar is your dog with long-leash walks, and how well do they walk on a leash?

Next Steps:

  • If our dog park adventures seem like a good fit, we’ll schedule a trial run to see how your dog gets along with the group.

  • For leashed walks or other services, we’ll confirm the schedule and get started right away!

This is also your chance to ask us any questions. We’re here to ensure that you feel confident and excited about trusting us with your dog’s care.
