Reactivity Support Walks

  • Dogs building confidence around other dogs or people

Decompression Walks

For dogs who need a break from busy, loud, or unpredictable environments. These walks take place in quieter natural areas — pocket parks, wooded trails, open fields — where dogs can sniff, explore, and move freely at their own pace. Long-line or off-leash time included where appropriate.

Where Can Decompression Walks Happen?

These walks can take place in various locations, depending on what's accessible and suitable near your home. Options include pocket parks, open fields, wooded areas, sports fields (when not in use), and cemeteries. Seattle has many great spots for decompression walks. I'll take your dog to a local area where they can enjoy this kind of freedom. Each walk will be tailored to your dog's specific needs and comfort level.

Decompression Walks Include

  • 30-minute intake (new clients)

  • 45-min decompression walk in a low-stimulation environment

  • Transportation to and from location

  • Supportive handling based on comfort and confidence

  • Written update after initial package

For dogs who are sensitive to new people, environments, or routines, we may take a gradual approach to building comfort with the process.

Best for

  • Dogs stressed by busy neighborhood settings

  • Dogs who thrive with sniffing and quiet exploration

  • Dogs building resilience and emotional recovery

  • Dogs who need help regulating arousal levels
